Notifiers and Activators
Avaya Notifier

Added support for Avaya J Series phones: 169 and 179. See Configure Your Avaya Phone System.
Mitel Notifier

Configuring a Mitel MiVoice Connect manager is now renamed to New Connect Communications Manager.

You can now configure a Mitel MiVoice Business manager by selecting New MiVB Communications Manager. See Configure MiVoice Business in Revolution Mitel Module.
SNMP Activator

When creating Mitel Dial Monitor triggers you no longer import a CSV file for your Mitel directory. Instead you now configure a Mitel notifier (MiVB Communications Manager). See Configure MiVoice Business in Revolution Mitel Module.

When setting up a Mitel Dial Monitor, you can now use a C# regular expression in the CESID field. See SNMP Trap Messages.
- When creating a Mitel Dial Monitor, you can use these variables:
{RegistrationName} – Name of the user registered with the phone, if from a hot desk service. This is a new variable.
{Location} - Original location of the user if placed from a hot desk service, otherwise the caller location. This is an existing variable that has been updated.
Status Activator

When creating a new status or redundancy trigger, the Title and Body fields now have a Variable dropdown menu. See Status Alerts.
Mobile Activator

You can now create Mobile Trigger and Mobile Assistance buttons such that they require a Security Code to be activated. See Creating Trigger and Assistance Buttons.

You can now allow contacts to specify their location when creating Mobile Triggers and Mobile Assistance Triggers. See Creating Trigger and Assistance Buttons.
Notifications

For the Recorded Notification you can disable the introduction audio by enabling the Quick Record option in the SIP Settings page. See Customizing SIP Settings.
- Revolution allows you to take an additional action based on a notification response or status
- Activating a different notification based on when your notification starts, ends, receives no response, or issues an error. See Sending a notification based on an event.
- Create notification actions (also referred to as response options) that will be performed by a contact from their device, such as offering a response, activating another notification, dialing a specific number, or stopping a notification. See Enabling an action from an endpoint
- Create notification actions that appear in the form of buttons on the Sent Notification Details page (Notifications > Sent). See Creating actions that are available from the Sent Notification Details page
Other Features
Offline Upgrade Installation
When you use the offline upgrade installation process, the installer will now prompt for the location of the downloaded ZIP file. See Product Upgrade and Licensing Updates
Configuration > Endpoints

The Bulk Edit functionality has changed as follows:
- Bulk Edit icon now provides a drop-down for selecting your bulk edit action. See Configuring Endpoints
- You can import a CSV file to edit properties of existing endpoints. See Updating endpoints from a CSV file
- You can edit many endpoint properties in a single page and save these changes at once. See Updating endpoint properties in bulk
- Location properties now include elevation and a location name, in addition to the already existing latitude and longitude.

Cisco and Mitel endpoints can inherit location data from their call managers. You can control this behavior in their Notifier settings. See Set location information
Scheduler

You can now import calendar events from an ICS file. See Importing events from an ICS file
Users Contacts & Sites > Sites

When dynamically assigning endpoints to sites, you can now instruct Revolution to also license any endpoints from the filter that are not already licensed (enable Automatically License All Dynamically Assigned Endpoints). See Assign sites to endpoints and contacts
Users Contacts & Sites > Users

You can now assign Users to multiple sites. Previously a user could be assigned to all sites or a single site. See Managing User Accounts.
Additional Updates

Importing contacts via CSV – Maximum record count increased to 2000. Revolution will import the first 2000 records if your CSV contains greater than that amount.

The product now references the company name Poly after Polycom rebranded itself.
