Redundancy

  • Active/Active – Revolution now supports Active/Active redundancy where you can set up more than two servers in a way to support a basic failover model or a model where Revolution activates notifications on a site-by-site basis.

    See Redundancy, Use Models,

  • Priority Groups – Through the Configuration > Priority Groups page you can define different priority orders for your redundant servers to define failover behavior and, by changing the first-listed server you can define which actions are related to which priority order.

    See Priority Groups

  • Scheduler – You can define a Priority Group for your Calendars, and all events have the same priority group as their associated Calendar.
  • System Status – When you are logged into the primary server, this page shows a tab at the top of the page for each redundant server. When you are logged into secondary servers, this page will only show status information for that server.
  • Status > System Status > Redundancy – You can perform server-related actions from this section. See Redundancy servers
