Status Reports
Access: Status > Reports. Revolution Admins and Editors have access to this feature.
You send status reports to Revolution contacts through a special type of notification. It is expected that the notification is sent via email.
This tab contains a collection of any reports you have created to send through the Report Notification type.
You can create the following types of report:
-
Activation Result — Generate an XLSX file, for a single notification, containing graphical and textual information similar to that found in a Sent Notification Details page.
This report must be delivered as part of a Send Notification action, which is one of the Notification Action Types that result from a separate notification.
See Creating an Activation Result Report Notification for a detailed example.
-
Audit Log — Generate a TXT file containing information, based on your selected time frame, from the Revolution audit log.
-
Notifications — Generate an CSV file containing a list of all notifications for the Revolution server.
The report includes all available information about the notification, as you would see in the notification details pane. For each cell, any multiple values are semi-colon separated.
-
Sent Notifications — Generate a CSV file containing data about notifications, based on your selected time frame. The information matches that shown on the Sent Notifications page.
-
Triggers — Generate an XLSX file containing a list of all triggers for the Revolution server.
The data includes trigger details as well as then number of notifications they are assigned to as well as the notification names.
If you have Calendars set as triggers, they will be listed in a separate tab. You can, optionally, limit the list to a specific Site such that it shows triggers for that site along with All Site triggers.
-
User Tags — Generate an XLSX file containing a list of all user tags, including standard, dynamic contact, and dynamic endpoint. You will see multiple lines per tag to show you all the selected endpoints and contacts.
Use this procedure to create a report type that you will send through a report notification.

- For Name, enter a string to easily identify your report.

- For Report Type, select the type of information to be included in the report.
- (Does not apply to all report types) Determine the number of days to include in the report:
- Previous number of days – Select how many days to include. A day, in this case, is the previous 24 hours from the time of the activation.
- Specific date range – Identify a date range to include, which begins at 12 AM on the start date and ends at 11:59 PM on the end date.
-
Enable Include summary in notification body, to add a summary to the notification.
- Audit Log — includes the last 10 lines of the audit log.
- Activation Result — includes textual information about the notification related to the report.
- Notifications — includes the total number of notifications included in the report.
- Sent Notifications — includes a summary of the 10 most recent notifications
- Triggers — includes a list of modules and their number of triggers.
