Direct One-way Notification
This type of notification is used when you want to send audio from a source endpoint to one or many destinations.
Your source endpoint can be a phone, talk-back speaker, Paging Relay with a line-in, or a device that generates audio output packets. The source endpoint can also come from an Input Stream Activator.
If your source endpoint supports softkeys, such as some phones, Revolution will display a Stop softkey that allows the sender to end the notification.
Scenarios include:
- Sending a notification that relays the audio from any device that generates audio output packets.
- Sending a notification that relays the audio from an Input Stream, where your trigger references any sort of trigger, and your source endpoint references your input stream.
- Sending a notification when audio is initiated on an Input Stream and relaying that same audio. Your trigger and source endpoint would both reference the Input Stream.
Access:
- Go to Notifications > Manage and select New Notification.
