Other VoIP PBX System Setup
Note: Both All Sites and Site Admins can configure SIP trunks.
VoIP PBX systems include those from 3CX, BroadSoft BroadWorks, CallSprout and GoTo Connect. This topic will provide information about these systems, but the process is generic and may be applied to other systems.
The process for setting up your VoIP PBX System, is as follows:
-
Configure your PBX System
Note: These configurations need to be done in your VoIP PBX system. Consult your PBX system documentation for instructions or ask your network administrator for assistance.
-
Create a SIP Trunk and point it to your OneAlert server.
-
Define extension numbers in your PBX for use as SIP lines in OneAlert.
You'll then add a SIP line in OneAlert to match each extension you want to use.
-
-
Create a OneAlert SIP registration.
Refer to Create a OneAlert SIP Registration.
-
Adjust the SIP general settings.
Review the Customizing SIP Settings section to see if you need to make adjustment to any of the default SIP settings.
