Honeywell CLSS Integration
When you are working with both Revolution and the Honeywell Connected Life Safety Services platform, you can configure Revolution to trigger auxiliary notifications based on events within CLSS.
Note: You must be licensed to use the Honeywell CLSS integration. Contact your Sales partner if you need to add this to your Revolution license.
The basic flow for integrating CLSS and Revolution is as follows:
-
Creating a Honeywell CLSS Token – This allows the two products to communicate. Revolution will have access to events occurring at your CLSS-managed sites and can trigger notifications based on event criteria you select.
-
Creating CLSS Triggers – Once the two products are connected, you can create triggers based on several criteria of your CLSS events.
-
Setting CLSS Triggers for a Notification – After creating your various triggers, you will then create notifications, as you normally would, using the new triggers.

You first need to open a connection between the two products. You do this by creating a Token within Revolution.
-
Go to Configuration > Integrations >Token.
-
Select New.
-
For Name, enter a name that will be easily recognizable.
-
For Available in All Sites:
- Enable to ensure all your site locations have access.
- Disable and select a Site to limit which site has access.
-
For Token Type, select Honeywell CLSS.
-
Enable Use Guaranteed Delivery, to ensure that the CLSS service will always wait for an acknowledgment before marking the event as Delivered Successfully.
-
Select Authorize and follow the resulting procedures for logging into your Honeywell account.
-

After creating the Honeywell CLSS Token, you can then create triggers to activate notifications based on various CLSS events.
-
Go to Configuration > Integrations > Honeywell CLSS.
-
Select New CLSS Trigger.
-
For Name, enter a name that is easily recognizable for the CLSS event type you are triggering off of.
-
For Available in All Sites:
- Enable to ensure all your site locations have access.
- Disable and select a Site to limit which site has access.
-
For Token, select the one you created with Creating a Honeywell CLSS Token. The list will only include your Honeywell CLSS tokens.
After Revolution connects to Honeywell CLSS via this token, the event information fields will be populated with valid selections.
-
For the event information fields, select the scenarios for which you would like to trigger a notification, where Revolution triggers a notification by matching the fields as described:
-
Empty field – If you leave a field empty, Revolution will assume you selected every possible value.
-
Single selection – When you only select one value, Revolution matches on that selection only.
-
Multiple selections - When you select more than one value, Revolution will OR those selections.
Within the field drop-downs start typing a value to filter the list down to your selection.
Based on your selections for all fields, Revolution will trigger a notification by ANDing them.
-
-
Select Save.
-

Create your auxiliary notifications, based on CLSS events, as you would any other notification. See Notifications Basics for more detailed information.
-
Go to Notifications > Manage.
