Floor Plans
Upload floor plans into UNP to more accurately view your locations within the map utility in the user interface. Images can include an office plan, building overlay, or any image that helps you place endpoints in an accurate location.
When working with maps within UNP you will have access to any uploaded floor plans, which will allow you to be as accurate as possible when:

Defining endpoint locations. See Viewing Endpoints on a Map.
- Creating areas. See Defining geofence areas.
- Sending notifications from the Endpoints Map on the Dashboard. See Send notifications via the Endpoints Map.

Upload your floor plan images as a new Media file.

Go to Configuration > Media.

Select Upload.

For Name, enter a value that is easily recognizable for the image you are uploading.

Select Choose File and use the file navigator to select your image.
Accepted formats include: SVG, BMP, JPG and PNG.

Select Close.
You will now be able to select this file in the Floor Plans page

The Floor Plans page lists all of your uploaded floor plans. From this page your can filter, edit, and delete floor plans as well as create a new floor plan.

Go to Configuration > Floor Plans.

Select New.

For Name, enter a value that describes your floor plan.

For Floor Plan Image, select the image you uploaded with Uploading a Floor Plan.
The drop down list shows the Name field from your media upload. The text entry field will auto-filter as begin typing the name of your upload.

For Available in All Sites:
- Enable to ensure all your site locations have access.
- Disable and select a Site to limit which site has access.

Place the floor plan on the map:

For Enter a location, begin typing a location (location name, city name, zip code, etc.) and select the result from the drop-down.
This will zoom and center the map on the location.

Zoom and move the map to your desired location. Hold the Ctrl key for zooming with a scroll wheel.

Select Drop Image, to place the image on the map.

Rotate
, Resize
, and Move
the image on the map.

Adjust the Opacity slider to set how the floor plan appears on maps elsewhere in UNP.

Lock
the image in place to prevent it from moving. You can unlock the image, if necessary. When you save the floor plan, it will automatically lock the placement for you.

Select Save to save the positioning and return to the Floor Plans page.
